Hard to believe it is already time to start planning the annual Red, White and Blue Flagg 5K! The event is slated for the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Its success would not be possible without the support of the volunteers. Our race has grown every year since its inception, so let's try to make the fifth year the best one yet!
We will hold our first planning meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 27 at Panera Bread on Gold Star Boulevard. If you can't make it, no worries. There will be plenty more to do as the event gets closer!

The Committee was founded by John and Anne-Marie Monfredo nine years ago in an attempt to promote literacy in our community, put books into the hands of children lacking in those resources and to promote the importance of being a life time reader. In seven years the group has given out over 170,000 books to the children in this community!
Last year Flagg Street Library Volunteers donated over 500 books. Lets beat that number this year! Drop off new or your gently used books for all ages to our Flagg Street Library Starting in April.
