This years goal: 30,000 books!
The Committee was founded by John and Anne-Marie Monfredo nine years ago in an attempt to promote literacy in our community, put books into the hands of children lacking in those resources and to promote the importance of being a life time reader. In seven years the group has given out over 170,000 books to the children in this community!
Last year Flagg Street Library Volunteers donated over 500 books. Lets beat that number this year! Drop off new or your gently used books for all ages to our Flagg Street Library Starting in April.
